My principal area of research interest is in understanding how the expressive arts can improve mental health and wellbeing for individuals and communities. My teaching practice focuses on engagement with multidisciplinary process-based art making.
I have a BA (hons) in Fine Art : Environmental from Glasgow School of Art and an MA in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art.
I have worked in community arts engagement independently and with organisations in Scotland for over 25 years.
